China ERA Plastic industry Group,Covering a total area of 200,000 square meters and construction area of 130,000 square meters with registered capital of RMB 188 million and total assets of RMB 650 million and a staff of 1600, is one of today’s largest manufacture bases of chemical building materials in China, its headquarters is located in East City Development Zone, Huangyan, Taizhou. Zhejiang province ,it has 10 subsidiaries such as Zhejiang Yonggao Plastic Industry Development Co., Ltd, Zhejiang Gongyuan Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd, Taizhou Yonggao Plastic Steel Doors and Windows Co., Ltd, Taizhou Huangyan Jingjie Piping Plastic Industry Co., Ltd, Shanghai ERA Building Materials Development Co., Ltd, Shanghai ERA Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd and Shenzhen Yonggao Plastic Industry Development Co., Ltd. The company mainly produces ERA brand PVC—U pipe fittings for water supply & dramage , insulation conduits and fittings for electrical installation, plastic valves and fittings, plastic steel doors and windows and profiles, PP-R cold and hot pipe pipings, PVC-U big caliber rib pipes, corrugated pipes, ultrahigh molecular compound main-hole well cover and high & intermediate grade electrical switches and sockets with annual throughput of 100,000 tons. Since 1998, its ERA brand products have been awarded as key popularization items of technological achievements of National Construction Department and recommended products of national comfortably-off housing construction, "ERA" trademark has won titles of "Famous brand in Zhejiang", "Famous trademark in Zhejiang" and "National inspection-free products". The company has been awarded as "Three-star Enterprise in Zhejiang", "Top Industrial Enterprise in Zhejiang", "Top 500 Enterprise in China" and "The First Batch Enterprise of Credit Demonstration in Zhejiang". Till now, its sales network has spread over more than 20 provinces and cities in China and some products are exported to Europe, America, Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, etc.
During the period of the China’s Tenth Five Plan, the Group will further expedite the development to realize a new leap. According to the strategic implementation of "Be in line with Shanghai and merge into Yangtze River Delta" proposed by the municipal government, the company will strengthen the technical reform of Shanghai ERA Company and expand its scale and technical advantage to make it become the largest manufacture base of big caliber plastic piping in East China. ERA Industrial Zone, a key construction project covering an area of 300 mu with total investment of RMB350 million, which has been ratified by the municipal government. The company plans to become a large-scale domestic top-ranking modern group enterprise of international level engaged in chemical building materials by 2008.
